MATIA and Kenny Mazur Record Follow Up CD!

“If you believe that things happen for a reason and in their own time, then you might understand the story behind this album. My life, like the lives of most of us, I think, has been a series of circles. Although I started out very young writing music, singing and playing, life required something else from me that at the time I could not have known or understood. But that journey was a gift for which I am very grateful despite the pain and the difficulty.To many it would seem that my first album, Blind, came many years too late. Rock Music Legends Join Singer MATIA
The life model for singer songwriter, MATIA , is one of love and passion.​ It is precisely her trust in these virtues that keeps attracting the success she experiences.

As she was regrouping her band from last year, it seemed many of the local musicians were not available. MATIA contacted some professional musicians who now live in southern Oregon and wasn't able to engage them in her project. As a result, she reached out to her producer and notable session guitarist, Kenny Mazur. who is connected with many well known session and touring musicians. Read full Story

MATIA Kicks Off CD Tour at Country Crossings
"World class country entertainment (KIeth Urban, Luke Bryant, Keith Stapleton...more) comes to the Jackson County Expo near Medford, Oregon and won't leave til your toes are tappin' and the memories are stackin' up! Singer songwriter, MATIA will appear on the BoxCar Stage on July 29, 2017 at 10:00am. She will appear with her All-Star Band of Rock Legends. Her band mates have played with Robert Palmer, Leon Russell, Tina Turner, Ojays, Ashford & Simpson, Special EFX, Dave Koz, and many more greats. She will perform an hour long set of original compositions from her debut CD, Blind and her forthcoming second album to be released next year. Read full Report.

MATIA to Perform Special ALL-STAR CONCERT at EdenVale Winery!
A rare musical event is coming to southern Oregon. Singer songwriter, MATIA, who will be performing at the Country Crossing Music Festival on July 29th (10 am Boxcar Stage) at The Expo has announced that she has added a second show. The recently scheduled concert will feature her All-Star band consisting of Los Angeles based award-winning musicians. In addition to boasting Emmy Awards and Platinum and Gold selling records, this ensemble has played with the Who's Who in the music business. Their resumes include live performances and studio work in multiple genres and extensive collection of global awards for TV and Film.

" I wanted to create something more intimate for the local community while my band was here in the Rogue Valley. When I asked them about adding another day to the tour, they were very excited about playing at one of the local wineries." said Matia. Her producer and notable session guitarist, Kenny Mazur had visited the area last year and enjoyed his stay so much that he has spread the word to many well known session and touring musicians from Los Angeles.
